Job summary

Westminster St. Augustine, part of Westminster Communities of Florida, is hiring a Line Cook to join the Dining Services team from 11am to 8pm, with some weekends. You will prepare quality meals for residents, guests, and staff in a fast-paced setting, following standardized recipes and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, quality ingredients, and contribution to a mission-driven, senior-living environment with opportunities for professional growth and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of culinary experience in a high-volume full-service dining environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data type programs.
• Basic knife handling skills.
• Willingness to provide a leadership role.
• Florida SafeStaff certification required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Setup work stations according to established guidelines.
• Prepare all food items in accordance with standardized recipes in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Distributes prepared food to all areas of service accurately and consistently.
• Restocks items as needed throughout the shift.
• Cleans and maintains station by practicing good safety, sanitation and organization skills.
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
