Job summary

Creative Dining Services in Wooster, OH is seeking a Line Cook for a full-time second shift (12:30pm–9pm, Monday–Friday, with every other weekend off). You will contribute to serving great food to students using state-of-the-art equipment in a professional, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include preparing items per recipes, maintaining logs, monitoring equipment, opening/closing the kitchen, and proper food storage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years cooking experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Second shift hours: 12:30pm–9pm, Mon–Fri with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus.
• Utilize batch cooking techniques to control production.
• Maintain logs for temperatures and other kitchen data.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and report issues to supervisor.
• Open and/or close the kitchen when required.
• Hold and store food at proper temperatures.
• Label and date stored items.
• Communicate needs and concerns to supervisor promptly.
