Job Summary

The successful candidate will join a team of highly skilled & professional F&B personnel. We are seeking industry-leading qualities from those who set the benchmark in F&B creativity, production, and standards for quality and pace.

Training & Experience

Team-based culture and collaborative mindset are essential, with at least one year of experience in a professional, high-volume upscale restaurant, private club, or luxury resort.

Job Knowledge

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the industry, creativity, a drive for excellence, and be a positive contributor.

Education

Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English effectively for communication with clients, members, guests, and co-workers. Multilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Abilities

Must be able to work on your feet, move quickly for long hours, lift and carry up to 35 pounds, and work in hot environments.

Responsibilities
  • 2 years of Ala Carte Service/Fine Dining experience.
  • Prepare foods according to standard recipes to ensure consistency.
  • Inspect, select, and use high-quality food items.
  • Manage proper storage and portion control, especially for high-cost items.
  • Maintain cleanliness of refrigeration, storage, and work areas in compliance with health regulations.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food, employing math skills for accuracy.
  • Stand and lift/move items weighing up to 60 lbs with stamina.
  • Have good knowledge of hot cooking techniques including broiling, frying, sautéing, and grilling.
  • Be ServSafe Manager Certified.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely.
  • Use basic math for recipes and portioning.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Manual dexterity for using kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Work in confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
  • Live locally or within commuting distance.
  • Willing to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and stamina for long periods on your feet.
  • Substance-free environment; mandatory testing.
  • Focus on guest experience with a positive “Yes” attitude.
  • Energetic personality.
