Job summary

We’re building a founding team for Cambrian Perk, offering both full-time and part-time roles with meaningful opportunities to shape a neighborhood spot from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of line cook experience.
• From-scratch cooking on a chef-driven menu.
• California Food Handler Card, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• High energy, outgoing personality with a sense of hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items from scratch following recipes and plating standards.
• Work the line during service, managing multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Share prep and dish duties, no dedicated prep cook or dishwasher positions.
• Follow proper food handling, temperature, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Deep clean the kitchen daily and maintain high cleanliness across equipment and storage.
• Keep kitchen organized and stocked, including prep areas, walk-in, and equipment.
• Communicate order timing and accuracy with front counter and barista team.
• Pitch in on light janitorial tasks like trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Manage pace during rushes to maintain quality.
