Job summary

Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, South Carolina is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare items for the sauté station, follow par sheets and sous chef instructions, and ensure correct doneness and seasoning.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of related kitchen experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables and other items for line and special function purposes.
• Follows club’s standard recipes for pre-prep and cooking.
• Assembles tools and utensils needed for duties.
• Prepares employee meals.
• Assists with other kitchen areas as directed by supervisor.
• Uses food prep equipment per manufacturers’ instructions.
• Returns unused food to proper storage.
• Maintains safe and sanitary handling procedures.
• Keeps work station and equipment clean.
• Disposes of waste at end of shift.
• Returns soiled utensils to proper areas.
• Makes recommendations for maintenance of sauté area and equipment.
• Attends staff meetings and suggests improvements.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
