Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Cook in the North Las Vegas area to prepare meals according to memorized recipes and ensure timely production. You will monitor quality, coordinate pick-up orders, and keep your station clean and organized.

The ideal candidate has at least six months of cooking experience, can stand for long shifts, and is able to lift up to 75 pounds. You will follow strict safety and sanitation guidelines and maintain proper inventory and waste control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of cook experience.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Physical requirements include reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling and twisting.
• Must obtain/maintain any licenses and/or certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders in a timely manner according to memorized standard recipes.
• Monitor food production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate orders for pick-up.
• Maintain cleanliness of work station and storage areas at all times.
• Control waste by proper rotation, storage, and quantity control.
• Maintain inventory of station and order stock to meet pars.
• Consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures.
