Responsibilities

• Line cooks prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, grills, fryers, steamers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Line cooks follow recipe specifications to cook, prepare all food items for service, and portion food products according to standard portion sizes and plating guidelines.
• Line cooks assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products served.
