MedFresh is a fast-casual Middle Eastern restaurant seeking a dependable Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our small kitchen team. You’ll prepare ingredients in the morning and run service during lunch and dinner, grilling meats, operating the shawarma machine, frying, baking bread, and assembling bowls.

We expect accuracy, cleanliness, and strong food-safety practices. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, is punctual, and a team player who can stand long shifts and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen, grill, or prep experience preferred.
• Ability to work with hot equipment safely.
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Prep: Wash, cut, and portion vegetables and ingredients.
• Prep: Marinate and portion meats according to recipe standards.
• Prep: Prepare sauces and house-made items using exact measurements.
• Prep: Label, date, and properly store all food.
• Prep: Maintain a clean and organized prep area.
• Prep: Monitor food levels and restock as needed.
• Line Cook: Grill meats and proteins to proper temperature and quality standards.
• Line Cook: Fry items and maintain oil quality and cook times.
• Line Cook: Operate bread oven and monitor baking consistency.
• Line Cook: Assemble sandwiches and bowls accurately and efficiently.
• Line Cook: Prepare fresh salads to portion and presentation standards.
• Line Cook: Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation during service.
• Line Cook: Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
