Job summary

Baba’s Shawarma is seeking a reliable team member to cook and serve shawarma, take orders, and help with daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced setting. You’ll prepare ingredients, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food quality across all menu items.

Experience in restaurants or shawarma is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who cares about quality and customer service. Join a growing brand focused on fresh, halal-friendly, flavorful offerings.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual
• Able to communicate well with customers and coworkers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift normal restaurant items
• Restaurant or shawarma experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right person
• Must care about food quality and consistency

Responsibilities

• Cook, cut, and serve chicken and beef shawarma
• Assemble shawarma wraps, platters, bowls, fries, and other menu items
• Take customer orders and operate the POS/register
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Prepare and restock ingredients during the shift
• Maintain proper portion sizes and food quality
• Keep the cooking area, counters, equipment, and restaurant clean
• Wash dishes and utensils as needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with opening and closing duties and help during busy periods
