Job summary

Newk's Eatery in Kennesaw, GA is hiring an afternoon sandwich artist and a Weekend Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will work your station through the shift, prep for the next crew, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following recipes and safety standards.

This role requires at least six months of restaurant cooking/prep experience or related customer service. You must be 16 or older, able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and able to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced

• Maintain a neat and tidy appearance by wearing a uniform and adhering to a corporate dress code

We are in immediate need of an afternoon sandwich artist during the week and a Weekend Line Cook. The line cook/prep cook (Pizza, Sandwich, Salad) team member is responsible for working his/her station to the end of the shift. This includes a clean as you go mentality, prepping for the next shift, and completing the duties of the station.

• Physical Requirements:
• Exposure to heat, smoke and cold.
• Reaching heights of approximately six ft. and depths of approximately three ft.
• Must have high level of mobility/flexibility in space provided for periods of up to eight hours or longer as needed.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
