Job summary

Dhgc Careers is seeking a professional Line Cook in Atlanta, GA to prepare food to exact chef specifications and set up stations for the menu. You will assist the executive and sous chefs with daily tasks to contribute to customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

The role requires proven cooking experience, including line cook, grill cook or prep cook experience, and a strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Grill Cook or Prep Cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
