Job summary

You will maintain sanitation, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with FOH to ensure every guest enjoys a flawless dining experience, whether dining in, takeout, or delivery. You should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in kitchen prep and cooking
• At least 6 months in a similar capacity
• Experience with knives, slicer, salamander, stove, oven, mixer, fryer, woks
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen, and dining room
• Reach/bend and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours)

Responsibilities

• Prepares meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
• Ensures 100% quality of products served
• Maintains standard portions, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules
• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food at line stations
• Cleans and organizes workstation and equipment
• Follows plate presentation and garnish setup
• Rotates stock and stores products properly
• Assists in food prep during off-peak periods
• Closes kitchen following closing checklist
• Performs other duties as assigned by Restaurant Manager
