Job summary

SSP America is seeking a Line Cook to receive orders, prepare dishes, and ensure a well-organized kitchen. You will set up stations, follow recipes, and present items to guests with consistency and speed.

You will stock and rotate perishables, manage supplies, and perform opening/closing checklists while maintaining health standards through cleaning and equipment care. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a food service environment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Verbal and written communication is essential.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Brand Certification, as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders and prepare dishes following recipes and portion control.
• Maintain proper and adequate setup of the kitchen/station daily.
• Stock requisitioning and stocking of food, paper products, and condiments.
• Handle, store, and rotate products properly.
• Set up, maintain, clean, and breakdown machinery and equipment.
• Maintain stock and perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Ensure quality of products served.
• Perform standard cleaning tasks to meet health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
