Skills and experience you will bring to us:

  • Line cook understands the importance of proper food handling procedures and ensures that HACCP procedures are always followed.
  • Continually demonstrates the ability to instruct less knowledgeable employees on properly use kitchen equipment while ensuring the highest safety standards.
  • Always follows all approved recipes while ensuring proper cooking techniques and the highest quality standards.
  • Ability to produce food orders in a timely, neat and organized manner according to the needs of the guest.
  • Familiar with all product/inventory in freezers and coolers and assists in ensuring that all product/inventory is properly rotated to maintain freshness.

Your knowledge that matters most for this role:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency. Associates degree in a related field or culinary degree preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must possess a valid NYS Drivers license; transport needed equipment.
  • Must be able to operate a steamer, fryer, oven, etc.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends.
