Courtyard by Marriott Lewiston, proudly managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, is hiring a Line Cook. This role focuses on preparing and cooking foods per recipes, ensuring quality and presentation while adhering to sanitation standards.

You will support kitchen operations, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with the culinary team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with restaurant or hospitality experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hotel/restaurant/hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain government or brand-required permits, licenses, or certificates.
• Up to 40 hours per week with varied shifts; nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime likely.
• Part-time position, 2–3 shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes; maintain quality and presentation; follow food safety guidelines.
• Support daily kitchen operations by preparing menu items, keeping workspace clean and organized, and collaborating with the culinary team to ensure a great guest dining experience.

Summary

This position is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, maintaining quality and presentation standards, and following food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Line Cook supports daily kitchen operations by preparing menu items, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and working with the culinary team to provide excellent dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to obtain any government-required or brand-required permits, licenses, or certificates. Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Position is part time, 2-3 shifts a week.
