Job summary

Salted in Chicago is hiring for a kitchen role with PM shifts and weekend work at 4131 N Rockwell St, Chicago, IL 60618. The position offers an on-site role with pay ranging from $18 to $23 per hour and a focus on consistent food preparation, sanitation, and teamwork.

You will coordinate with our FOH team to relay orders, uphold quality standards, and support career advancement opportunities. A minimum of 6 months kitchen experience, knife prep and sauté skills, and the ability to lift up to 50

• Prepare & cook food items consistently and in compliance with recipes, portioning, cooking, and waste control guidelines.


• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.


• Communicate customer order information to our virtual FOH team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of kitchen experience.


• Good foundation in kitchen skills, including knife/prep work, sauté and more.


• Can stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
