Job summary

Raleigh Durham Embassy Suites in Cary, NC is seeking a part-time line cook to prepare ingredients and cook menu items for restaurant and banquet operations.

You will maintain a clean workstation, follow food safety procedures, and help minimize waste while delivering high-quality dishes. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required, along with an active Food Handler’s Certification.

Qualifications

• Active Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Team-focused, energetic attitude with a drive to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items using a variety of techniques and equipment.
• Recreate dishes with consistency and care across restaurant and banquet operations.
• Set up and maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitization, and storage procedures.
• Help minimize food waste and ensure the quality of all ingredients used.
