ASH Hotels' The Elysian Bar in New Orleans is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare high-quality dishes per menu specifications in a timely manner, stock stations, and maintain clean, sanitized work areas in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have proven Line Cook experience in restaurants or hotels, knowledge of cooking methods and equipment, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma or degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Line Cook in a similar establishment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure that food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized.
• Monitor food inventory levels and replenish items as needed.
• Assist with the receiving and storage of deliveries.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to maintain menu consistency and quality.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet service and production deadlines.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
• Assist in other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors.

About the role

The Elysian Bar is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Elysian Bar. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to menu specifications in a timely manner. Your culinary talents and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma or degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Line Cook in a similar establishmen
