Ash Hotels’ The Elysian Bar in New Orleans is seeking a dedicated Line Cook (Part Time) to join our culinary team. You will prepare high-quality dishes according to menu specifications in a timely manner, helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

The ideal candidate has proven line cook experience, knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipment, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and culinary terminology.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure that food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized.
• Monitor food inventory levels and replenish items as needed.
• Assist with the receiving and storage of deliveries.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to maintain menu consistency and quality.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet service and production deadlines.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
• Assist in other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors.

About the role
