Job summary

GreatLIFE Golf’s Tallgrass Country Club in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a part-time, hourly Line Cook. Pay is $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include preparing pantry items for various outlets and ensuring proper storage and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The role requires completing opening/closing checklists, following portion sizes and health standards, and reporting any equipment or food quality issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Open and close kitchen by following opening/closing checklists.
Prepare pantry items for restaurant, banquet operations, snack bar and beverage cart.
Prepare meats, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking on grills, fryers and other equipment.
Maintain standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules/policies.
Ensure proper storage of food items and maintain a clean, sanitary work station.
Open kitchen properly and assist others in opening the kitchen.
Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to supervisor.
Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
