Job summary

The Oxford Tap is seeking a friendly line cook to join our Michigan pub kitchen. Previous kitchen experience or experience in a fast-paced setting is preferred, and you must be willing to work evenings and weekends. You will set up stations, prep items, and plate meals with care.

Strong English communication and the ability to multitask are essential. Lifting up to 55 lbs and remaining on your feet for long periods are required in this role.

Qualifications

• Friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoys cooking.
• Experience in a kitchen or another fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen prior to opening and organize stations.
• Cook specific portions of plated meals as directed by the lead.
• Assist with food prep and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Plate dishes attractively and ensure timely service.
• Wrap and store unused items; shut off equipment and clean area.
