Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel is seeking a motivated Line Cook to join Pegasus Pizza in our renowned Food and Beverage program. You will prepare hot and cold dishes, operate a station, and contribute to a high-volume kitchen in a premier downtown Dallas setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of culinary experience, knife skills, sanitation knowledge, and the ability to stand for long periods. Flexible nights, weekends, and holidays are required, with opportunities to grow alongside a passionate team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of culinary experience preferred.
• Well-versed in operation of at least one culinary station.
• Basic kitchen preparation, knife skills, sanitation, and safety knowledge.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day.
• Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparing a variety of food items (hot and cold) for Pegasus Pizza within a timely manner.
• Operating at least one station within the kitchen (Saute, Grill, Garde Manger, etc.).
• Maintaining cleanliness of all hot and cold preparation stations and surrounding areas.
• Organizing and preparing current and future requisitions.
• Effectively communicating menu and dietary changes between shifts.
