Job summary

The Line Cook at Brisbane, CA hotel prepares and cooks food to the property’s standards under the supervision of the Executive Chef. Responsibilities span breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets and room service, with emphasis on consistency and safety.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent or 6 months to 1 year of related experience; Safe Serve/Food Handler certification; strong time management and organization; ability to work mornings and long shifts;

Qualifications

• Safe Serve/Food Handler certification required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ingredients for the shift and cooks according to recipes and standards.
• Operates the cooking station safely and efficiently.
• Maintains cleanliness and complies with sanitation standards.
• Prepares pantry items, sandwiches, salads and desserts as directed.
• Assists with breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets and room service.
