Job summary

Aba - Nashville in Nashville, TN, a Mediterranean restaurant with a California influence, is seeking Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. Located in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, we feature a modern approach to Mediterranean cooking and a beverage program with unique Mediterranean wines.

As a Line Cook, you will prepare, produce and present all menu items, work flexible hours, maintain food safety standards, read thermometers, and communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications

• Must have kitchen experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Willingness to work a variety of hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and requests.
• Follow portioning controls and maintain par levels.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards and communicate issues promptly.
• Read a thermometer correctly and monitor food temps.
• Move and lift items as required and work across kitchen stations.
