Job summary

Pelican Brewing Company in Yachats, OR is seeking a Line Cook for our new location opening September. You will prepare Pelican menu items, learn Pelican processes, and help build the founding team in a high-energy, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities include reading recipes, maintaining a safe workstation, and supporting service during busy periods. Compensation starts at $15.55/hour with tips; actual earnings vary with hours and tip pool participation.

Qualifications

• Two years Back of House experience.
• Valid Oregon Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality food preparation and plating.
• Learn Pelican menu items and kitchen procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean workstation and adhere to SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with staff during service.
• Support line cooks and service staff as needed.
• Follow Oregon Food and Safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
