Job summary

Pelican Brewing Company in Yachats, OR is hiring a Neighborhood Pub Server for our brand-new location opening in September. You will deliver exceptional guest service, build guest loyalty, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items while keeping service fast and friendly.

The role requires FOH experience, cash handling and OLCC/food handler certifications, with a focus on teamwork, positive attitude, and ability to manage busy shifts in a lively environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of Front of House restaurant experience.
• Cash handling knowledge and experience.
• OLCC Certification and Food Handler’s Certification.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of beer and cocktail programming.
• Physical endurance to move quickly and carry large trays.
• Night/weekend/holiday shifts required.
• Performs duties per Pelican customer service standards.
• Able to stand for at least 8 hours.
• Able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat as needed.
• Work in a loud restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary guest service and communicate effectively with FOH and BOH.
• Greet guests within 1 minute of seating.
• Take orders and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Assist other service personnel as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of Pelican menu items, events and community involvement.
