Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group in Ohio is seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to join our team. You’ll handle prep work and your station while upholding our high standards for presentation, quality and cook times.

You’ll learn to prepare all menu items according to our recipes, work across kitchen departments, and contribute to a friendly, supportive team environment that values hospitality and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain product quality.
• Mobility required during the entire shift and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must handle knives and kitchen equipment safely and accurately.
• Physical demands include navigating the restaurant and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
