Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to join HomeGrown and support our family-style dining approach. You will perform prep work and cook menu items according to recipes, while maintaining high standards of presentation, quality, and cook times.

You’ll be cross‑trained across kitchen department roles and learn the Thrive way of Cultivating Kindness through great food and service.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown’s recipes and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
