Job summary

IHOP Restaurants in Blue Springs, MO is hiring a Team Member to store, prepare, cook, and package food in accordance with IHOP standards and local regulations. You will work under the Restaurant Manager, maintain a clean workstation, and follow safety and uniform guidelines.

A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience is required; ability to read and understand English recipes and orders. IHOP training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English; understand recipes and guests' orders.
• Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plate, and package food according to IHOP standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Comply with IHOP safety, health, sanitation and uniform standards.
• Stock and rotate supplies in kitchen, prep, and expo areas.
• Unload/un-box and store food, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Follow dish machine and/or sink procedures per IHOP standards.
• Identify and remedy incorrectly prepared food before serving to guests.
