Gyotaku Japanese Restaurant in Honolulu is seeking a reliable Line Cook to prepare a variety of dishes across stations in a high-quality kitchen. You will follow established recipes, maintain cleanliness, and support the team to ensure timely service.

We offer shifts AM/PM, full-time or part-time roles, and pay $16–$20 per hour plus tips. Immediate hire with weekend availability and comprehensive training for all skill levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Gyotaku Japanese Restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations throughout the shift.
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared following food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage food inventory and minimize waste.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries to ensure ingredient quality and freshness.
• Support the kitchen team during peak hours by efficiently managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
