You must be friendly, hardworking, punctual, and able to follow recipes, multitask in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and work weekends, evenings and holidays. Competitive scheduling and meal discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food preparation in a scratch kitchen.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must be able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• High level of stamina to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh and properly stored.
• Follow recipes and prep lists, measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Label and stock ingredients for easy access.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping and cutting as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, etc.).
• Bake, grill, steam and broil foods; present and garnish final dishes.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards; clean and sanitize work areas and utensils.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and monitor stock levels.
