Job summary

Century Casinos Inc. is seeking a motivated kitchen team member to prepare and maintain dishes according to approved recipes. You will handle pantry and salad prep and execute a range of cooking methods in a fast-paced environment.

You must understand culinary terms, maintain high sanitation standards, and be able to work all shifts. Stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and pass background checks including a WV Racing License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with pantry and salad preparation.
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards.
• Willingness to work all shifts in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Must pass background check and WV Racing License.
• Understanding of culinary terms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain dishes according to approved recipes.

• Broiling, sautéing, deep-frying, boiling, steaming, baking, and grilling.
• Identify foods and ensure safe handling and storage.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor and follow daily production schedules.
