Job summary

The Orchards is seeking a Cook II Line Cook to join our team. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, and pays $23.50–$25.00 per hour based on culinary experience.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving all items per recipes, coordinating with meal serving hours, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. We offer PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401k with match, tuition assistance, commuter reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, retirement community or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all food items per standardized recipes including sauces, sautés, boils, braises, roasts, fries, steam, grill and bake.
• Ensure meals meet physician orders if applicable.
• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, fish, vegetables for cooking and maintain quality of products.
