Bear River Casino Resort is seeking a Line Cook II to prepare all menu items to specified standards, address customer needs, and maintain cleanliness and safety. You may set up and breakdown the line, uphold daily prep levels, and assist in events and functions.

Line Cook II is responsible for preparing all menu items to specified standards while addressing customer’s needs and requests. They are required to adhere to all cleanliness and safety standards, can set up and breakdown the line, maintain assigned daily prep levels, and can assist in food functions/parties and events. Line cooks II is responsible for the kitchen when a supervisor is not present and acts as the lead for all line cooks.
Act as mentors to Line Cooks and other kitchen staff.

Must provide or obtain a Food Handlers certification upon hire and maintain during employment.
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
