Lucky Dog Casino in Shelton, WA is hiring for a Cook 2. You will perform cooking on a single hotline station, following SOPs set by Food & Beverage leadership, while ensuring cleanliness and proper food handling.
A High School Diploma (or GED) and at least 1 year of food and beverage experience are required. The role requires reading and speaking English, basic math, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced casino kitchen environment.
Cook 2 is proficient in all duties of Cook 1. In addition, Cook 2 is responsible for performing various duties in food preparation and cooking on single hotline stations following the methods and procedures set by the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) of the Food and Beverage Leadership.
May assist with training the Cook 1 position, as directed by Food & Beverage Leadership.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of one (1) year of consistent food and beverage experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Working knowledge of computers and familiarity with Microsoft Suite as well as a POS system is a plus.
Common sense understanding in carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Dealing with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. The ability to multitask is a must.
Class II Gaming License issued from the Skokomish Tribal Gaming Commission, current Washington Food Handlers Permit and a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
