Job summary

Front Porch Communities & Services is hiring a Cook 1 for Vista del Monte in California. Under the supervision of the Director of Dining Services or Executive Chef, you will prepare and cook meals and specialty items for residents and staff, ensuring quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food handlers certification from local health department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables for cooking.
• Provide quality customer service to residents, families, co-workers and vendors.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and equipment.
