A day in the life...

As a Line Cook, you will be on the front lines, providing excellent fine dining customer service. You will prepare and cook for our guests on various train experiences, including legacy, lunch, and dinner trains, as well as seasonal experiences and private events. Your friendly, energetic, and professional personality will help ensure our guests' stay is memorable.

Requirements

  • 2 years of proven cooking experience, including roles as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
  • Familiarity with industry’s best practices.
  • Culinary school diploma is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in small, fast-paced environments, including on a moving train.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Availability for day or evening shifts, including holidays and weekends.
  • Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain it.
  • Speak and read English at a minimum.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
