Description

We are hiring a Line Cook to join the Napa Valley Wine Train. This iconic experience has been a staple in Napa's Wine Country for over 30 years. As a Line Cook, you will be part of this historic and luxurious tradition, preparing and cooking for our guests on various train experiences, including legacy, lunch, dinner, seasonal events, and private functions. Your friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor will help ensure our guests have memorable experiences.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven cooking experience, including roles as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
• Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity with industry best practices.
• Culinary school diploma is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment on a moving train.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Availability for day or evening shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain it.
• English speaking and reading proficiency.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
