Qualifications

• Experience following standardized recipes.
• Hotel/restaurant or retail food-service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes, logs, and work as part of a team.
• Food-handler certification preferred at hire and may be required after employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, portion, and present menu items to recipes and standards.
• Maintain stock levels, freezer pulls, and setup line for each shift.
• Follow all food-safety requirements for handling, cooking, cooling, and storing food.
• Monitor temperatures and complete safety logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and storage.
• Minimize waste and follow cost-control guidelines.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized.
• Complete opening/closing duties and restock.
• Provide courteous service and respond to guest questions.
• Follow safety, security, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties within training and capabilities.
