Job summary

LBA Hospitality is hiring a Cook to join our on-site dining team in Houston, TX. The Cook prepares menu items according to approved recipes and brand standards while upholding food safety, inventory, and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience using standardized recipes and preparing menu items.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain logs.
• Work well in a team and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, portion, and present menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain stock levels and prep for each shift.
• Follow food-safety requirements for handling, cooking, cooling, holding, labeling, and storing food.
• Monitor temperatures and complete safety logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and proper storage of products.
• Minimize waste and follow cost-control guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; complete opening/closing duties.
