Menno Haven in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a Line Cook (Homemaker) for full-time, on-site dining services and housekeeping. The Homemaker prepares healthy meals, assists with serving, and maintains kitchen activity and cleanliness. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year line cook experience, are 18+, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

ServSafe is preferred. Shifts include every other weekend and holiday in a caring elder-care setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum one (1) year line cook or similar experience in dining services, required.
• ServSafe certification, preferred.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• General understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work with a team and independently.

Mansioni

• Prepare food for household meals and snacks using standardized recipes.
• Assist with serving resident meals, snacks, and nourishments.
• Plan and facilitate activities for elders and households that involve food preparation.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and neatness of household surroundings.
