Job summary

Description

Full-Time / Exempt / Pay based on experience

The Lead Homemaker is responsible for supporting the nursing team and Homemakers in coordinating and maintaining the culinary operations of the Health Care Center. This role promotes food quality, resident dietary needs, food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness while supporting the overall needs and well-being of residents.

Qualifications:

• Must meet at least one of the following:
• CDM, Certified Food Service Manager, or comparable nationally recognized food service management certification;
• Associate’s degree or higher in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or a related field; or
• Two (2) or more years of relevant food and nutrition services experience in a nursing facility setting, with applicable food safety and management training.
• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, required.
• Previous experience coordinating a food service operation with supervisory experience, preferred.
• Familiarity with HACCP guidelines, food handling procedures, and kitchen sanitation protocols to maintain a safe work environment, required.
• Basic understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets, required.

Shift:

• Full-time, Exempt, 7am - 3:30pm
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation, required
