Job description

Hilton Los Angeles Airport is located off I-405, with SoFi Stadium, the Intuit Dome, and The Forum within three miles. Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica Pier are within 13 miles. We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our team at Hilton Los Angeles Airport!

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working the hot line in a restaurant or hotel restaurant setting, can work in a fast-paced environment, and has open availability. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. Shifts are typically evening hours, but flexibility is necessary. Hotel experience is a plus!

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring quality control for hot food items, ensuring outstanding service and profitability. Your tasks will include:

1. Preparing, maintaining, and monitoring quality control for hot food items, including meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings.
2. Cooking food according to recipes and quality standards.
3. Preparing guest orders efficiently and courteously.
4. Maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation standards at all times.
5. Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen to ensure plates are clean and appealing.
6. Following proper food handling and storage procedures according to regulations.

The hourly rate is $26.41, based on experience and location.
