Job summary

Station Casinos in Las Vegas is seeking a Cook to directly support the Executive Chef and kitchen team. The cook ensures the kitchen and equipment are in good working order while maintaining cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards.

You will assist in preparing, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling and steaming meats, fish, eggs and vegetables, and you will keep cold items stocked. Minimum 1–2 years of high-volume restaurant cooking experience and the ability to obtain work cards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years Cook experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Chef, Asst. Executive Chef, Room Chef, and Asst. Room Chef.
• Ensure kitchen and equipment are in good working order.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, and steaming meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, etc.
• Keep cold items stocked.
