Job summary

Kalispel Tribe of Indians is seeking a kitchen worker to prepare and cook soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts across our dining establishments. You will assist in creating specialty dishes while maintaining quality, safety, and presentation to guests.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; high-volume cooking is a plus. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience handling high volume cooking is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other dishes according to recipes.
• Assists in preparing specialty dishes and ensures food quality and presentation.
• Follows recipes and control procedures; maintains sanitation and safety standards.
• Rotates products daily to ensure peak freshness and HACCP compliance.
• Works with Sous Chef and Food & Beverage Manager as assigned.
