Job summary

Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar in Omaha, NE is seeking cooks for our fast-paced, full-service venue. You will be part of a team that delivers consistent guest experiences during high-volume service.

You will prepare and direct food production while upholding sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, following established programs and procedures. You’ll also ensure proper use of supplies and equipment to minimize loss and waste.

Qualifications

• Cooks in a high-volume, full-service restaurant and sports bar.
• Kitchen staff plays a key role in every meal and guest experience.
• Prepare and/or direct the preparation of food following sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and established production programs.
• Ensure proper use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or direct the preparation of menu items in a high-volume setting.
• Maintain sanitation and personal hygiene standards in all prep and serving areas.
• Monitor inventory and use of supplies to minimize waste and discrepancies.
