Job summary

TGI Friday's Cloud Kitchen in Wayne, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare a wide variety of menu items with strict recipe adherence and attention to plate presentation.

You will ensure all food meets safety and quality standards, work with the service team to keep the kitchen moving efficiently, and maintain a clean, organized prep and line area in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Commitment to food safety standards and recipe adherence.
• Attention to plate presentation and quality control.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all prepared food meets TGI Fridays' standards and recipe requirements.
• Follow food safety rules, protocols, and standards.
• Place expo-ready food in the window and manage timing with service staff.
• Keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and organized; rotate stock as needed.
• Communicate ticket times and any issues to staff and managers.
• Assist with station prep, breaks down and cleans area daily.
• Conduct line checks and ensure products meet sensitivity guidelines.
