Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Bartlett, TN is seeking a Line Cook to join our Back of House team and deliver consistent, quality plates. You will work in a fast-paced environment focusing on speed, accuracy, and presentation while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include station setup, ticket execution, proper labeling and storage, and teamwork during service. 18+ required; reliable transport is preferred. Training and growth opportunities accompany competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Able to stand for 8 hours or more per day.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset and positive attitude.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• 18+ age requirement for BOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Properly label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
