Job summary

Farmers Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook for our Tysons location. Our kitchens prepare everything from scratch, and you will portion ingredients, prepare recipes to standard, and adhere to quality and sanitation protocols.

You will work with a dynamic culinary team, have growth opportunities, and contribute to a culture of learning and development. Competitive pay and benefits are provided after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Demonstrates professionalism and reliability.
• Understanding of food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic components of each dish using standard recipes.
• Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables using kitchen equipment.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard sizes.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and equipment.
