Farmers Restaurant Group in Reston, VA is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our scratch-made kitchen team. You will uphold strict quality and sanitation standards to ensure guest satisfaction across a dynamic, fast-paced service period.

Formación

• Minimum one year cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud kitchen.
• Professionalism and strong work ethic.
• Able to read and follow recipes.
• Able to stand for eight hours or more.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work with allergens.
• Fluent in English (spoken/written).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare basic components of each dish using standard recipes.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables.
• Stock and maintain line inventory for smooth service.
• Portion food to standard sizes.
• Plate presentation and garnish setup.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation.
• Follow hygiene and food-safety measures.
• Memorize serving portions and prep procedures.
• Assist in food prep for other shifts.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock.
• Open/close kitchen and follow checklists.
• Ensure quality of products and compliance.
